Slow Ways Soft Launch Today

Slow Ways is an initiative to create a national network of walking routes connecting all of Great Britain’s towns and cities as well as thousands of villages.

The project launched today and their journey planner is a great tool for planning long-distance walks… that you can shoot with your 360 camera!

Now it’s been launched with more details, the routes are not so easy tackle, unless you are super fit or arrange for someone to collect you at the end of the day.
The 6 settlements connecting to Chester are 10 plus miles away, some not having particularly good public transport links to get back home again. 8 to 10 miles is enough for me to walk in a day. I’m certainly not going to manage a 20 miler round trip.
It would be no problem if cycling these distances to map the suggested routes, but not so easy having the settlements they have picked so far apart.
