How do I get rid of myself from the nadir of a 360 image?

I now lift up my 360-camera by means of a selfie stick, and earlier use a very short monopod.

Is there any software for covering or erasing myself from nadir?

Conventional cloning is difficult and gives bad results when the ground is complex.

(It would work over a simple ground.)

Can I assume viewers are not interested or in need of looking downwards?

In all honesty, unless you really don’t want to be seen I would not worry about.

Many people do add custom nadir’s (especially business logos), here’s a good example.

Google will pull up tons of articles detailing how to create a nadir cap.

One solution I really like is this “mirror ball” effect that mirrors the image in the pano, rather than being a fixed image each time: https://wiki.panotools.org/Adding_a_nadir_cap_(mirror_ball)
